Before you write, two things fix most of it. Restart the music software once after installing, because a plugin found halfway through a scan is a plugin that half works. And check you pasted the whole key, including the dashes.
If you are not sure a plugin will run on your machine, ask before you buy. We would rather answer a question than take money for something that will not work.
